NetSol shows solid growth
LAHORE (September 07, 2010): NetSol Technologies Ltd (Pakistan) on Monday announced results for financial year 2009-10, ended on June 30, 2010. The NetSol Pakistan showed solid growth during 2009-10 as it recorded revenues of Rs 2,031 million, which represents 53 percent increase as compared to Rs 1,324 million of the previous year.



Profit after tax of Netsol Technologies increases
KARACHI (September 04, 2010): The profit after tax of Netsol Technologies Limited has increased to Rs 977.232 million in the year ended June 30, 2010 (FY10) as compared to Rs 341.170 million earned in the corresponding period in FY09. The board of directors of the company in its meeting held on Thursday declared that the company's earning per share has increased to Rs 12.38 in the period under review against Rs 4.12 in the same period a year back.



First Oracle Partner Network Kickoff fiscal year 2011 organised

Teradata invites nominations for ninth National IT Awards
KARACHI (September 03, 2010): Teradata Pakistan, a business unit of Teradata Corporation (NYSE: TDC), the world's largest company solely focused on data warehousing and enterprise analytics, recently announced the call for nominations for its annual Teradata National Information Technology Excellence Awards.



Agility demands fair compensation for its services
KARACHI (September 03, 2010): Agility Logistics, a Kuwait based software provider, has demanded provision of fair compensation for its services in case of its cessation from Pakistan Automated Customs Clearance System (PaCCS) project. In a letter sent to the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR), the Agility has demanded fair compensation for the services it has provided to the board and the government of Pakistan to date.



Oracle announces BPM Suite 11g

Ministry progressing on E-office programme meticulously
ISLAMABAD (August 21, 2010): The Ministry of Information Technology on Friday claimed that the ministry was progressing on its E-office programme strictly in accordance with the contract agreement signed between Electronic Government Directorate (EGD) and LMKR for development of E-office software.



'CMMI Version 1.2': NetSol first Pakistani companies to be re-assessed
LAHORE (August 21, 2010): NetSol Techno-logies has won the truly outstanding distinction of becoming the first Pakistani company to be re-assessed at Maturity Level 5 against CMMI(r) Version 1.2 by Carnegie Mellon Software Engineering Institute (SEI). In doing so, it has created a marvellous milestone for Pakistani IT industry and placed Pakistan at the forefront of IT software producing countries.



India-Pakistan 'cyberwar' claims high-profile victim
MUMBAI (August 18, 2010): The "cyberwar" between India and Pakistan has claimed another victim, with the hacking of a high-profile lawmaker's website that experts say highlights the woeful lack of Internet security in South Asia. A group calling itself the Pakistan Cyber Army said it hacked into the website of independent Indian MP Vijay Mallya, a flamboyant liquor baron, who is also head of Kingfisher Airlines and the Force One Formula One racing team.



Mobile software 'City Xplorer' launched
KARACHI (August 17, 2010): Grey Lines Studio, a mobile software company held the launch of its new 'City Xplorer' at Marriott, Karachi. Grey Lines Studio's latest software is promising and is surely going to be successful. The software is one of its kind, the first ever mobile yellow pages software.
