Three men injured in Dera Bugti bomb blastDERA MURAD JAMALI (March 19, 2010): Three men sustained injuries in a remote control bomb blast that took place at Achanak Chowk in Dera Bugti here on Thursday. According to police sources, unidentified men attached explosive device with a cycle and parked it at Achanak Chowk. Later, they detonated explosive device with a remote control. As a result, three passers-by suffered serious injuries. The injured were rushed to hospital.

No possibility of surgical strikes inside Pakistan: IndiaNEW DELHI (March 19, 2010): Indian Minister of State for Defence M M Pallam Raju said here on Thursday India would not conduct surgical strikes inside Pakistan. When asked by newsmen about possibility of any surgical strike on alleged "terror camps" inside Pakistan, the Minister said there was no possibility.

Sectoral engagement: Pakistan to propose ten tracks to USISLAMABAD (March 19, 2010): Pakistan would propose a new framework to the US for cementing institutional relations between the two countries by enhancing co-operation in economic, social and defence sectors. Addressing the weekly press briefing here on Thursday, Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi said he would propose ten tracks for sectoral engagement between the two countries for bilateral co-operation completely different from previous three engagements between the two countries.

Indian parliamentarians, ministers to arrive on March 25ISLAMABAD (March 19, 2010): A twenty-member Indian delegation headed by former Chief Minister of Indian Punjab Captain Amrendar Singh will reach Pakistan through Wagah border on March 25. UK boy kidnapping: France requested to repatriate alleged culprits, National Assembly toldISLAMABAD (March 19, 2010): Interior Minister Rehman Malik on Thursday said that people involved in abducting British citizen Sahil would be brought to Pakistan from France for trail in the Pakistani courts. Giving a policy statement in the National Assembly, the Interior Minister said that formal request have been made to French government to repatriate the alleged culprits who were involved in the abduction of Sahil.

'Pakistan not to be blamed for cultivating regional terrorism'ISLAMABAD (March 19, 2010): Pakistan's ambassador to Poland Seema Ilahi Baloch has said that Pakistan is not responsible for cultivating extremism in the region and stressed that the situation had been rather fuelled from outside. In an interview with Polish daily Rzeczpospolita published recently, the ambassador emphasised that outside forces were responsible for the waves of violence rolling over Pakistan and Afghanistan.

Seminar on 'Pakistan-China relations in 21st Century' heldBEIJING (March 19, 2010): The Pakistan Embassy here on Thursday organised a day-long seminar on Pakistan-China Relations in the 21st Century which was largely participated by scholars, academicians, diplomats and students from various universities. In his opening remarks, former Foreign Minister and ex-Ambassador to China Dr Inamul Haque said that "Friend is regarded when you are in need of friend" and Sino-Pak relations fully stood test of the time.
